THE CHANGE JOURNEY

a workshop by Symbal

PURPOSE

To understand what communication is needed to make your change initiative a success and what leaders must do to get people to take part in the journey.

FOCUS ON ENABLING CHANGE

Together, we figure out what kind of change communication will create motivation, understanding and ultimately ownership of the change initiative by the target group. The focus is not on management’s roll, but rather on what content and formats will help leaders do their job.

ENERGIZING WORKSHOP

“The change journey” is a workshop that takes participants through the five steps of the change process: Prepare, Awareness, Interest, Trial and Adoption. The workshop starts with theory and examples. Then we dive into each step with exercises that stimulate participants to figure out exactly what their communication needs to accomplish.

After the group has run through the case (either fictive or tailored to your business), the participants receive feedback on their ideas, insights and presentation from Symbal’s facilitator.

With this activity-based learning, you can count on energy and laughs while bringing out valuable insights.

ÅSA BJERING
PROGRAM DIRECTOR • SWEDISH INSTITUTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

“During the Swedish Institute Management Program we asked Symbal to provide a one-day inspirational workshop on the topic of change communication. With a mixture of interactive exercises, theory and role play the CEO:s from the Baltic Sea Region broadened, deepend and revised their understanding of a thought through perspective of change and communication.

In the final evaluation of a three week program many of the participants lifted up Symbal and the workshop as one of the best part of the program, it had provided them with insights, tools and an approach that they would implement and work with back in their own business.”
